The current e-Procurement Solution known as the Integrated Procurement Solution (IPS) has been in operation since 1999 and facilitates the procurement of goods and services up to a certain threshold value. Given the recent challenges, the Western Cape Provincial Treasury took a decision to have an in-house solution developed to mitigate the various challenges experienced. In so doing, part of the implementation of the new solution requires that suppliers be on-boarded onto the new platform and subsequently activating their profiles on the new solution. The following video provides a step-by-step process to register and activate a supplier’s profile, once in receipt of the system generated email.
